Fitted Kitchens and Alterations
I've fitted many kitchens over the years and also made them from scratch at Oakfields Furniture. Now I mainly fit Howdens Kitchens and am able to pass on my tradesman's discount to customers. Firstly, I'll visit your home and discuss some ideas. Then Howdens' kitchen planners will come out and plan your kitchen incorporating those ideas. Once this is complete you're shown your new kitchen details, design and cost. I will then tell you my fitting fee and book in the new kitchen. I also carry out repairs, alterations and total facelifts - new doors, work tops, and plinths - leaving the existing cabinets in place, giving your kitchen a complete overhaul and a fresh look.

Painting and Decorating
Interior painting and decorating - specialising in period houses and including architraves, coving and skirting boards. Exterior - garden fencing and gates, garage doors, sheds and summer houses painted and sealed. Guttering, rotten timbers and soffit boards restored and repaired. (Preparation and good quality paint is the key to painting and decorating and great care is taken to ensure a professional finish.)

Bathroom Repairs and Maintenance
Cabinets fitted, shower screens installed, bath panels replaced or repaired. Sealing, silicone treatment and replacement. Bathroom mirrors fitted, removed or replaced. Bathroom fittings installed, repaired or replaced. Wall and floor tiling carried out. (I don't do any plumbing, but can arrange for one to visit.)

Carpentry and Built in Furniture
Being a cabinet maker, I specialise in repairs and maintenance as well as built-in furniture and alterations - check out Oakfields Furniture and Restoration which I have run in Honiton for 36 years. Built-in furniture and alterations throughout the home can be planned and designed to your own requirements. Under-stairs cupboards, bookcases and built-in cabinets are just a few of the projects that can be undertaken. Or we can simply put up a few shelves for you.

Woodworm Treatment and Replacement of Affected Timber
The following can be inspected, treated and replaced where necessary - floor boards, skirting, doors, soffit boards, garden sheds, summer houses, shop fronts and wooden buildings. Wet and dry rot can also be removed and treated.

Garden Services and Fencing Repairs
Garden maintenance, such as cutting grass and hedges, vegetable garden care and cultivation, and general tidying, can be carried out on a regular basis or as one off jobs. Some garden planning can be provided. Repairs, treatment, painting and installation of fencing, garden gates and sheds can all be undertaken. Greenhouses can be repaired, maintained, cleaned or glazed.
